Choices? Surf it, don'e drink it! Well you're not supposed to drink it!
Surf Session of a Lifetime N/A I was tucked away behind my Honda TRX450R out in Ocotillo CA. Another secret spot. It was about 75ºF. Offroading this late in the season gives you more options when some of your friends don't necessarily just surf. I know where that secret spot is. Too bad it has to happen on a weekend. Al
Baja Expedición II 2008 Yes way! Dustin, Light is playing tricks on your eyes my man. The original photo, which is about ten times bigger, was shot at 8:38 A.M. on June 5th 2008. The direction is Southeast. It goes offshore everyday usually. Approximately 3º off the Tropic of Cancer. So it's like always almost noon looking. Al smilies/cool.gif
Baja Numero Tres N/A Andres, Thanks again for letting me expel my demons in written form on your blog site. It's great therapy for an old man. BTW.. we were driving an FX4 F-250 Ford V10 with a trailer. Two Honda Quads 450TRX's ("motos" as they are called down south) and four fine Velzy noseriders, performance pintails and all the tequila and cerveza we could pick up... lima for the tequila and puros to celebrate making the road. We were also carrying our "outpost" gear... shade setup, wind screens, tables and playing cards... dominoes... etc. The usual stuff in case the surf ain't happening. Mal "El Tiburon" G
Talking story on row 2 palm tree 3. N/A I think I was 19 in 1969. First year of college. You had two choices. Stay in school or get drafted. Like your surf fiction DJ! Boss the way you used initials. PB was one of the only breaks that didn't blow out in the afternoons. Here's an excerpt you might like... "June '67... K42... glassy all day... No... you really missed it..." el rey tiburon
Car Break-in @ Pipes, N.County SD N/A Sunday was December 7th? Anyway it is a sad day again when you can't leave your stuff somewhere without the scumbags ripping off. Hope the sombitch gets his comeuppance. Dang! Regards, Nado
windan winter 08 How's the fin working out? Hope you found the sweet spot on your longboard DJ. Did that fin help? Experimenting with fins rates right up there with riding a new board. Almost.. GR
Sharky Waters Cleared by Lifeguards N/A April 25th 2009, a year to the day since the attack at Solana Beach, CA., these sightings occur up at Sano. Concidence? The man in the gray suit, el rey tiburon, the toothy bastard, rules the waves. GR
