Coming up this Oct. 4th and 5th, the Swamis Surf Club will be putting on its 17th Annual Club Challenge at Cardiff Reef, Encinitas.

The contest, following in the footsteps of its predecessors, will be offering myriad divisions: longboarding and menehunes of all age groups, paddle race, stand up paddle, and shortboarding. Now some of these divisions boast the honor of having their own signature sponsor. All longboard divisions will be sponsored by Seaside Market, the stand-up division by Western Financial/ Aloha Wealth, and the menehune division by Hansens BoardSports. In addition to a whole lot of action in the water, there will also be plenty of action on the beach. Multiple vendors will setup booths along the parking lot, the always-thrilling raffle of surf-related memorabilia will be “rolling the roulette”, and fun, music, and “surf-core” partying will abound.
