The Windansea Surf Club announces its contest for the Coalition of Surfing Clubs. The event will take place at La Jolla Shores, San Diego on November 29th &30th, starting at the crack of dawn, 6:15am.

Setting up the festive mood for the weekend, the club will hold a pre-event party at the Wave House on Friday, where surfers will be able to carry on their wave-riding passion through the night and have a more personal experience with their fellow competitors.

And like all the other contests for the Coalition of Surfing Clubs, the proceeds of the tournament will go toward charity, turning the time of fun in the water into an act of giving to the needy, a combination hard to beat. Entries (or should we say 'donations') are $80 a person per division and there will be multiple divisions available, virtually one for every age group.

There is, however, as it is normally the case, a cap on the number of entries per club. Each club can have only '2 entries per division except for 10 and under boys and girls, and Tandem team', says one of the event organizers.
