This is a GREEN - Eco Friendly - Event

Meet Dr. Marcus Eriksen and Anna Cummins, who have brought world attention to the “plastic soup” fouling our oceans, with a 2,000 mile bicycle ride/speaking tour from Vancouver to Tijuana in a quest to end the age of disposable plastics. This bicycle ride has been a platform designed to give presentations and give away samples collected of the "plastic soup" in our Pacific Ocean to legislators and educators. They've had a chance to give samples to 5 mayors, speak to thousands of people, and bring awareness along the entire west coast about the plastic pollution issue. They Arrive In San Diego On Saturday and will be at the event! The Surfrider foundation has been a key partner on this ride. Check out the Bicycle Powered Karaoke Sound Machine and Blender Stations. Join The San Diego Surfrider Foundation and San Diego Coast Keepers for a beach cleanup at each event. They will both be on site to educate, spread awareness and ensure that everyone respects our beach.

No Plastic Bottles - Recycled and Bio Degradable Products & Materials encouraged.
