Last weekend at Scripps pier, competitors were welcomed with playful 2-3 foot glassy surf.  With plenty of open face, contestants were able to link strong turns all the way to the inside finishing with creative fins free maneuvers.  Austin Ware, points leader in the pro division, finished his first heat with a first place.  However, when all was said and done, Shaun Ward took it, winning the big check at the 6th stop of the series.
