Unfortunately, as the afternoon rolled around, the winds shifted onshore, deteriorating the conditions. Despite this, the waves remained somewhat fun and makable (at least for a few maneuvers). And what was lost in the water was made up for in the perceptive commentary and priceless storytelling of Pete Cuffaro on the judge's mic.
