| Trestles Church's, Day 5: Gathering of the Tribes with Few Injuries but Great Success | Lots of cuts this past weekend | Mark Graham from the OLSC club had a nasty cut that required six stitches and a good cleaning out at Tri City Medical Center. Mark cut his foot on his way out to his heat on Saturday. Sunday two other junior women had to have stitches as well from cuts on their feet. |

| Outrage Over Hurley and Longboards | N/A | Rumor has it that Hurley will have an invitation only noseriding event in the US Open, that is really nice for the few elite Orange County surfers who will get invited, but it sucks for the rest of the longboarders who planned on competing in the 2009 US Open. I for one will not be buying Hurley products in the near future. |
| Oceanside Club Contest 2009 | N/A | Anyone can sign up for the pro events, just down load the entry form and send it in, you do not have to qualify for the event and we will not be seeding the event.
