My Local Lineup has launched San Diego’s only Surf TV Show and is now looking to fill advertising sales position.
ABOUT TV SHOW
My Local Lineup TV airs every Monday at 7pm (all of San Diego County) and Mon-Fri at 12am (all San Diego but North County). It’s an all surf television show and is scheduled to air a new episode every week, featuring the local surf lifestyle, industry force, competitive talent, and everything else surf. My Local Lineup TV reaches over 900,000 homes each primetime appearance and is available on Cable TV, iTV channel 16.
ABOUT POSITION
The advertising sales position is commission only and based on highly motivating rates. Candidates must have a good presentation, be articulate, and have experience in sales. Preferably, candidates should have preexisting contacts of prospect advertisers, be known in the industry, and be familiar with television and online marketing. Informational material and advertising catalog will be provided, and candidate is expected to have a laptop and be mobile to visit clients.

ABOUT TV SHOW
My Local Lineup TV airs every Monday at 7pm (all of San Diego County) and Mon-Fri at 12am (all San Diego but North County). It’s an all surf television show and is scheduled to air a new episode every week, featuring the local surf lifestyle, industry force, competitive talent, and everything else surf. ABOUT POSITION
The position is initially unpaid, but with the prospect of payment on an assignment basis. It involves making announcements for the shows, interviewing organizers and participants of events, and collecting information to be included in post-production phase. Candidates must be articulate, have a good presentation, and be committed to research and preparation prior to the shootings. Preferably, candidates should be themselves a surfer, have a basic knowledge of the different surfing modalities (e.g. longboarding and shortboarding), and be acquainted with elementary aspects of the surfing scene (e.g. Malibu’s point break is an iconic surf spot).
