Saturday, June 14, the Pacific Beach Surf Club will host the tenth annual Summer Longboard Classic.

Space is limited; so if you want to take part, you best sign up soon. The deadline is June 7.

Or, if you’re not one to compete, there will be plenty of fun to be had on dry land. Besides watching male and female surfers of all ages ride the waves, you can catch the popular Cat and Dog heats. Plus, you can forget about the lottery that weekend, because the good folks at the PB Surf Club will be raffling off five (count’em) complete surfboards. $1/ticket.
