The excitement was in the air as Life Rolls On, a foundation dedicated to inspiring both able and disabled athletes, kicked off their event at La Jolla Shores on March 9, 2008. The event (called "They Will Surf Again") drew an enthusiastic bunch of volunteers and athletes alike. Together, they sought to bring back the gift of surfing to those who needed a little extra help. Robbie, from Happy Barrels Surf Camp, lead the blue team with an unmatched zeal and never failed to encourage the athletes. These, accompanied by the volunteers, went into the water with high aspirations to brave the 2-3 foot surf.  When exiting the water, the elated spirit of the group complented the success in the water and testified to the inspiring work that a few willing hearts can accomplish through collaboration.
