My Local Lineup TV: Surfing with Wood, War, and More

Programming Schedule of July & August for My Local Lineup TV 

SAN DIEGO – My Local Lineup TV will be on tonight with a special edition episode, introducing My Local Lineup TV’s Programming and its four different shows: Top Turns, Caught Inside, Drawing the Line, and My Local Lineup 360. Normally, the monthly scheduled programming will include an episode of each one of these four shows, but not this month due to the special edition show. Also, to help the San Diego audience to catch up with the early episodes of My Local Lineup TV, the programming for the month of July will rerun in August. From then on, the scheduled programming should take its normal course, with each one of the four shows playing at least once a month. Here is the July/August Schedule.

Wood not only excells in noseriding and traditional longboarding, but he also has a host of other talents, including shaping and painting. Having worked for and being influenced by the likes of Gordon & Smith, he has a special insight into the world of custom surfboards and its merge with artwform. Through Wood, this episode offers special look at the soul of Southern California surfing. Make sure you tune in.

Shot in The Loft at the University of California, San Diego, this show features the groovy atmosphere of the campus rendezvous at the sound of Southern California's musical hero and Drive Thru Star, Donavon Frankenreiter. Jessica Palomo, the hostess for this episode, conducts onsite interviews and takes a look at some of the people involved with the gathering. As the beats unfold through the night, scenes of local surfing are played in and out all throughout the show. Make sure you tune in.

This is the first installment of Top Turns, the My local Lineup TV Show that focuses on the competitive scene. The show will feature Sean Marceron, a shortboarder from Leucadia, who's been the Sun Diego Series reigning champion year in and year out. There is a heat-by-heat breakdown, interviews with Marceron and his competitors, and a host of shredding turns by the Top Turns stars. Make sure you tune in.

This episode features a behind the scene look at Between the Lines, a film that “explores the Vietnam War through the prism of the surfing sub-culture.” This My Local Lineup 360 episode presents interviews with the people behind the film, plus highlighting parts of this thought-provoking documentary. The life-and-death questions faced by the men of that time are posed to producer Ty Ponder and additional interviews are conducted with some Vietnam Veterans, such as Jerry Anderson.
