Patagonia Cardiff Gone Wild Over Presents

SAN DIEGO, CA – After a worldwide tour, Thomas Campbell is finally coming around and wrapping up the debut of his new film in the Patagonia store at Cardiff-Reef, CA. The film, partly sponsored by Patagonia, has received its share of exposure and commentary. Treading on the footsteps of his early landmark movies, Seedling and Sprout, Campbell has a tough hill to climb after building such high expectations. Virtually by all counts, his preceding films have rattled the surf movie industry and, by some accounts, changed the face of our lineups across the globe. So, if you haven’t yet seen THE PRESENT, Campbell’s latest feat, Patagonia will be hosting a film premiere and DVD release for you to pass on the verdict on whether Campbell has reached the summit.
Then adding to the already thrilling night, Patagonia is giving away tons of prizes, involving some sort of trivia questionnaire.
Among the goodies to be given out are an Alaia Surfboard by the Wegeners, a pair of trunks, and a wetsuit top. Some of the movie celebrities, including Campbell himself, will be present at the event, signing DVD’s and schmoozing with the crowd.
The event, much like the other events at Patagonia Cardiff, will be held outside and participants are reminded to dress accordingly. But per some recently released information, there is no need to worry about blizzards, hurricanes, or tornadoes. Admission is free, but is on a first-come-first-serve basis. That means: show up early or else! Also, given the highly competitive nature of the trivia and the desirability of the prizes at hand, trivia contestants are highly advised to revisit their surf encyclopedias and all the Devon Howard articles both published and unpublished.
