Surfindian Surf Boutique Opening Night
San Diego, CA -- Coming up on June 28, Surfindian Surf Boutique , a surf shop with an
emphasis on the merge of surf and art, will be having its opening night
at Pacific Beach. After months of preparations, shop owner and
Tourmaline regular Chris Rule is making the final arrangements for the
shop’s debut.
Featuring that night will be none other than legendary surfer and
shaper Skip Frye and upcoming artist Andy Davis. These two came
together and concocted surfboards that promise to impress in both
instrumental and aesthetic value. With Frye providing the shape and
Davis the paint job, the unveiling of these boards make the trip to PB
undoubtedly worthwhile.
And in addition to the surfboards, Davis will be likely presenting some
of his other work in paintings and t-shirt design. (Samples of this
talented young artist's work can be found at his online store Ando &
Friends .) But also worth a look will
be the various other products available, all of which will likely have
an artistic leaning. With all the careful attention and work that Rule has put into it, the boutique promises to be a valuable storehouse of surf and art, whether you're into surfboards, paintings, or t-shirt design.
