I've had Velcro problems with all my Longboard XM leashes. The tab attached to the Velcro that is used to fasten the leash has always torn off for me. Perhaps, I've been using it in the wrong way or I've been trying to use it for longer than I should. Nonetheless, I do think that that tab is quite a principal part of the leash and that it shouldn't wear off so fast as it tends to do with me. But that aside, the leash holds up pretty well.
