Generic
Brand: Larry Crow
Model: 7'6" Single Fin
Year: 2009
Larry resorts to the standard concepts of rails, volumes, and rocker, but he applies them quite uniquely, where the objective is to maximize speed (not turns) in order to allow the rider to be as close to the curl as possible without stalling. (Fore more photos, click here. )

Completely agree with the review and i can add some more as i've been an owner of a Crow board for over a year. Depending on what type of board he shapes you they tend to come to life in bigger surf as well as doing outstanding in small surf. I've surfed my crow in well over head surf and the board is a rocket and no problem with the single fin on my bottom turns sliding out. I'd say his boards are great from 1' to as high as you can go. The only problem with bigger surf would be duck diving that meaty board. Get one if you can!

Magic Speed!, Monday, 16 March 2009

I've tested this board and it's magic for La Jolla Shores Trim on small waves. Given the atypical volume distribution -- especially towards the nose, where there is more volume than usual -- the rider is able to stand on the nose of the board at an incredible speed, while still maintaining control over the board as if riding the tail. (Note: I have not tested his equipment on bigger surf. For more photos of the board, click here.)
