Brand: C4 Vortice 14'0"
Model: Vortice
Size: 14"0'
Year: 2008
Manufacture's Website: http://store.c4waterman.com/C4-Vortice-BW-p/c4vortice-14-0-bw.htm
This model was designed to be a "general purpose" race or touring SUP paddleboard. Starting with the same basic chassis as the XP Vortice, it has been slightly widened and adapted to the molded-composite construction used to manufacture the rest of the C4 quiver. The double-barrel concaves and sharp rail chines leave the water no where to go but off the tail-in a hurry. The result is a light and strong paddleboard that is compatible with most intermediate to advanced paddlers, fast enough to win races but easygoing and stable enough to cruise along the coast for physical training or sightseeing. (Shipping is additional)

This board works wonderfully cutting through the chop. The rocker and the bottom design enable the board to cruise through textured waters like a hot knife through butter. Also, the hollow construction of the board makes it incredibly light for its size. On the down side, the steep rocker significantly slows down the board. So if chop is not your problem (like it is for the Hawaiians) then you might want to consider something with less rocker, that is, if your aim is speed.
