From the filmmakers who brought you Singlefin: yellow, DRIVE and Stylemasters, comes a story about surf culture and tradition. One California Day is a visual journey through six distinct coastal regions, capturing the California surfing experience through the surfers who live it. Shot in brilliant super 16mm color film, the movie examines the variety of subtle differences that make California so unique.

I saw "One Calif. Day" on the Malibu Pier last summer during the Malibu Boardrider's Coalition Invitational. Talk about a classic venue.

Watching one of the best contemporary surf films shot in our Golden State in the best light, the best surf, with some of the best riders on the iconic Malibu Pier.

This surf flick is a must see and have. My son, Alex, bought it for his girlfriend as a gift and we had to open and watch it before she received it as a gift.

Fantastic! Under the motto of "looking back to move forward", this film presents a deeply thought look at the past of board building and wave riding, while at the same time thrusting a forward approach to the progression of the sport. The picture is phenomenal, the soundtrack soothingly fitting, the surf and surfer caliber through the roof, the script beautifully written, and the lines incredibly narrated. Definitely a MUST WATCH and MUST HAVE! In fact, this is a great way for the less educated to get a lesson about the richness and depth of California surfing.
