When hotshot surfing champion David Monroe wipes out on a big wave, he slips back in time to 1911 Hawaii. Some might call it corny, but I had a great time watching this movie. Now although this is a 'surf movie', it isn't your typical one. It has a storyline with romance, jealousy, and so on. And above all, this film shows the power of the Aloha spirit melting even the most arrogant of souls - quite a ride.
