Well the fishing was great too! I have got to go back. Ground swells have been pouring in out of the South Pacific and this little corner has been too much fun. So The Annual Baja Expedition Part II will continue soon.
A certain Saints Day is celebrated here and the festivals are something that should not be missed. Change your dollars to pesos, get your Mexico insurance, bring the passports and check it out. Tourist cards are about twenty U.S. at the border and are good for 180 days. Pemex gas cost about $1500 mn or $150 US to make the 000 mile trip. Roads are smooth and very few if any skillet holes. Just don't drive at night, you'll be o.k. Steers don't know the road is for cars.
When did you get good swell with such a strong Santa Ana wind set up. That pic looks well late in the afternoon and the winds are wailing off shore. This must have been back in November sometime. Right?
Light is playing tricks on your eyes my man. The original photo, which is about ten times bigger, was shot at 8:38 A.M. on June 5th 2008. The direction is Southeast. It goes offshore everyday usually. Approximately 3º off the Tropic of Cancer. So it's like always almost noon looking.
Yes I know. I was speaking with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek. I'm saying that town has a wave that looks like a California point break on a Santa Ana day. And it is like that nearly all the time. I just didn't want to get too specific about it. See you there July 12th to the 20th if you're scheduled to be there.

Like ships passing in the night. We got to give one of our riders time to prep his 650R and pack. Hopefully the road will be "clear sailing" so to speak.
