I don't know about you, but I haven't surfed since last Saturday and I'm really starting to get cranky. Coastal Eddy has really worn out his welcome and needs to hit the road. I'm tired of checking the surf every day and finding Lumpy and Bumpy out there dominating the lineup and can't wait to see my old friend Glassy back in town.

Wetsand is calling for some SW to start filling in on Saturday and continue on into Sunday. Surfline is saying it'll be knee to waist high and fair. Don't you just love the sound of that word "fair?" It sure beats "poor," the persistent condition we've been enduring for several days in a row now. I'll take the small surf, just gives us some shape—please.

Here's to better days soon. They can't come fast enough.
