To upload photos to your gallery listed under 'Photos --> Photographers', follow these steps.

 

First, click on 'Photos' in the main menu.

Second, click on the login for the photo gallery.

 

Third, enter your username and passowrd FOR THE GALLERY.

 

NOTE: The username and passowrd for the gallery is given to you by one of the site's administrator. It's not automatically generated upon registration to the site. The username and passowrd FOR THE GALLERY may or may not be different from the GENERIC username and password for the site. If you are not one of the photographers listed on the gallery, then contact us and we'll look into listing you on the gallery together with the other photographers. But if you are one of the photographers listed on the gallery and you forgot your photographer's username and password, then contact us and we will give you a new one.

Fourth, click on 'album actions' (pull-down-menu at bottom of photo gallery).

 

Fifth, select 'add items'.

 

Sixth, choose the photos you want to upload to your gallery and (if you want) write the caption that you would like to go with the photos.

 

NOTE: (i) For quicker upload, we suggest you resize the images to 1024 pixels wide. (ii) You can upload multiple photos at once through a zip file. To do that, place the photos into a folder, compress/zip the folder, and then choose the compressed/zipped file as the file that you wish to upload to your gallery. (iii) By Adding caption, users can more easily find the photos that they are looking for when doing a search. We suggest you add at least the date, place, and (if applicable) name of the you photographed. (iv) There is a 100MB limit per upload. So if the file or total of files you are trying to upload exceeds this limit, make sure to breakdown the upload into smaller file sizes. 

 

IMPORTANT!!! Do not select the watermark at this point, since you will likely run into problems, like not being able to click the Add Items button. We suggest you first upload the photos and then (once that's done) click EDIT ALBUM for the album where the photos are located and apply the watermark at that point by clicking on the WATERMARK tab. We do suggest you use the watermark that we've created for you, since that will allow us to place a photo on the slideshow on the homepage in order to drive traffic to your album.  

 

SEVENTH, and finally, click 'Add Items'.

Wait for the photos to be processed (resized, watermark applied, thumbnail created, ...) and you'll see a list of all the photos added to your gallery. Sometimes, depending on the number and size of the images being uploaded, you'll have to wait anywhere between 15-20 minutes for the images to be processed.
